As a result of NHK radio program "Shibuya Animeland" broadcasted on January 2nd, Haruka Amami of "The Idolm@ster" was chosen for the best anime heroine in approximately fifty years of Japanese anime history.
The program elected ten nominees through the primary election, the internet vote, then during its broadcast conducted final vote on the internet.
