In 2100, the population of Tokyo will be half, Tokyo Metropolis revealed.
The population of Tokyo will decrease after peaking 13.35 million in 2020. In 2070, it will break the level of 10 million and in 2100 become 7.13 million dropping 46 percent from 13.16 million of 2010.
The population of old people over 65 will peak in 2050 reaching 4.42 million.
