Yabusoba, the famous traditional soba restaurant was destroyed in a fire

At around 7:20PM on February 19th a fire broke out in Kanda, Tokyo destroying five buildings including Kanda Yabusoba.
The fire sight located approximately 500 metres southwest from Akihabara Station, was put out in two hours. The 40 people inside the traditional soba restaurant safely evacuated.
Yabusoba was established in 1880 in Meiji era. The architecture was built 90 years ago, the year of the Great Kantō earthquake, survived through World War II.
