110 applicants for 1060 jobs. Welfare job meeting in Kagawa
On January 24th, companies' joint information session "Welfare Job Support Fair" was held in Takamatsu, Kagawa targeting to recruit health care and welfare field students and workers. 75 employer offered 1,060 jobs, however 110 people attended the session.
The number of job offers at the prefecture's Social Welfare Human Resource Center has increased by 70 percent from 2009 while the number of applicants has increased only 10 percent in the same term.

Family arrested for hiding a machine gun and grenades in their house
Tokushima Prefectural Police on November 17th arrested Takayuki Mino a 39 years old company officer and his parents living in Takamatsu City for concealing a submachine gun, 201 bullets and 3 grenades in an attic of their house.
The authorities investigate means and purpose of acquisition.
