Japanese eel will be on "Red List"

Japanese eel or "unagi" the fish known as one of the greatest Japanese cuisine is going to be on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources(IUCN) will officially announce on 14th.
It is considered having high risk of extinction in the wild in the near future.
